Recently, a research team from Fudan University has made a new breakthrough in the research of high-performance fiber batteries and battery fabrics. By designing fiber electrodes with pore structure, they achieved an effective composite of the electrodes and the polymer gel electrolyte. The team not only solved the problem of poor interface stability between the polymer gel electrolyte and the electrodes, but also developed a continuous construction method for fiber batteries, enabling the large-scale production of fiber batteries with high safety and high energy storage capacity. The related research results were published in the main issue of Nature.
