The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has fully launched the automated monitoring of computing power situation awareness.
In order to thoroughly implement the decisions and arrangements of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, accelerate the formation of a unified national computing resource "account", and comprehensively enhance the management efficiency of computing resources in our country, the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently issued the "Notice on Comprehensively Carrying Out Automated Monitoring of Computing Resource Situation Awareness" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice").
The "Notice" stipulates that, based on the previous pilot work, all regions across the country and key computing power enterprises should, in two batches, utilize the China Computing Power Platform system to conduct automated monitoring of computing power status. Through key tasks such as comprehensively enhancing the automated monitoring capabilities, improving the data quality verification mechanism, and enhancing the level of data intelligent analysis, the computing power monitoring capabilities should be significantly improved. This will promote the dynamic optimization of the computing power supply structure and lay a solid foundation for the efficient allocation of computing power resources and the high-quality development of the industry.
The notice states that by the end of 2026, the automatic monitoring of computing resource data across all 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and key computing power enterprises across the country will be achieved. A nationwide, standardized, intelligent and efficient automated monitoring system for computing power status will be basically established, with significant improvements in the quality of monitoring data, intelligent analysis capabilities, and the application level of monitoring results.
The automated monitoring of computing power situation awareness will help various units, based on the monitoring and analysis results, dynamically optimize the supply structure of computing power deployment in their regions and enterprises, guide the efficient application of computing power, and enhance the empowerment of small and medium-sized enterprises and the accessibility and usability of computing power in various industries.
Next, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will enhance the publicity and interpretation of the "Notice", guide all regions and enterprises to steadily carry out the automated monitoring of computing power situation awareness, continuously promote the optimization of the rational deployment of computing power resources, build a high-speed and agile computing power support network, advance the refined, intelligent and efficient matching of supply and demand of computing power resources, and continuously improve the efficiency of computing power resource allocation.
