The Xinjiang Survey and Design Association held a promotion meeting for the "Technical Standards for Application of Building Information Modeling Design"
On the morning of July 27th, in order to accelerate the informatization construction of the survey and design industry in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, deepen the understanding of the local standard "Technical Standards for Application of Building Information Modeling Design" (XJJ-157-2022) by designers, and help BIM technology to be better and faster applied and implemented, the Xinjiang Survey and Design Association held a promotion meeting for the "Technical Standards for Application of Building Information Modeling Design" in Urumqi. More than 100 designers from 21 design units participated in the learning and exchange.
The conference is guided by the Housing and Urban Rural Development Department of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, hosted by the Xinjiang Survey and Design Association, organized by the Design Branch of China Construction Xinjiang Engineering (Group) Co., Ltd., and co organized by Xinjiang Architectural Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Corps Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Weitai Development and Construction (Group) Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Hezhu Construction Architectural Planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd., Xinjiang Municipal Architectural Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Xinjiang Railway Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. Officials from the Fire Supervision Department of the Housing and Urban Rural Development Department of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region attended the meeting and delivered speeches, while Zhang Chunyan, Deputy Secretary General of the Xinjiang Survey and Design Association, presided over the meeting.
This conference invites the chief editor of the standard to provide detailed interpretations and share exciting case studies on each chapter of the standard, aiming to promote the implementation and popularization of the Building Information Modeling (BIM) application standard in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, deepen the application of BIM technology, promote the active use of BIM technology in the entire industry, and accelerate the comprehensive development of Xinjiang's digital economy.
Experts introduced the background and ideas of standard preparation, and provided a clear and concise explanation of the core provisions of BIM concepts and methods for selecting standards. With the vigorous development of the intelligent construction industry, BIM technology, as an important support for digital design, will play an increasingly important role in the entire industry chain. I hope that through this promotion and exchange, designers can deepen their understanding of BIM standards, accelerate the implementation of BIM standards, provide technical guidance and direction for everyone in design and construction, and effectively promote the level of survey and design and the development of intelligent construction in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
