China's first distributed photovoltaic resource development and allocation platform has been completed.
Recently, China's first distributed photovoltaic resource development and allocation platform was established in Jiangsu Province. It can precisely locate, evaluate and optimize the allocation of rooftop distributed photovoltaic resources within approximately 100,000 square kilometers of Jiangsu Province. This will significantly enhance the installed capacity and utilization efficiency of distributed photovoltaic power, and better serve the realization of the "carbon neutrality" goal.
This distributed photovoltaic resource development and configuration platform independently developed by State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power innovatively employs artificial intelligence and big data analysis technologies. It accurately identifies and assesses the scale of existing building rooftops across Jiangsu Province, categorizes and screens them, and calculates that the total installed capacity of rooftop distributed photovoltaic in the province is expected to exceed 180 million kilowatts. At the same time, the platform can also predict and analyze the development sequence of distributed photovoltaic in each specific area.
