The work summary meeting of the 2023 branch of Chongqing Survey and Design Association has been successfully concluded
On January 25, 2024, the Chongqing Survey and Design Association held a work summary meeting for its 2023 branch at China Railway Eryuan Chongqing Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. Leaders including Gong Yi, Director of the Design and Green Building Department of the Municipal Housing and Urban Rural Development Commission, Xue Wei, Chairman of the Municipal Survey and Design Association, and Li Zhengchuan, Secretary of the Chongqing Survey and Design Research Institute Co., Ltd. of China Railway Eryuan Engineering Group, attended the event. More than 40 branch presidents and secretaries general also participated. The meeting was chaired by Secretary General Feng Shu of the association.
Firstly, Secretary Li Zhengchuan of China Railway Eryuan Chongqing Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. delivered a speech. He expressed warm congratulations on the successful convening of the 2023 branch work summary meeting of the association. In his speech, he provided a detailed overview of the company's development history, business areas, representative projects, and outstanding achievements. Finally, he stated that the company will continue to fully support the work of the association as always.
Representatives from six branches, including the Architectural Design Branch, Engineering Survey and Geotechnical Branch, Water Systems Branch, Electrical Intelligence Branch, Digitalization Branch, and Whole Process Consulting Branch, shared the highlights of their work in 2023 and their work ideas for 2024. The remaining 15 branches made exchange speeches on their work, management, and development.
In his concluding speech, Chairman Xue Wei first highly praised the extensive work and excellent achievements of each branch in 2023, and expressed sincere gratitude and high respect for their long-term strong support for the association's work, as well as their hard work and important contributions to the development of the industry. He deeply analyzed several issues related to the establishment of the branch, the construction of the branch itself, the development of members, and the working methods of the branch. He put forward expectations for the work of the branch in 2024: firstly, to enhance ideological awareness, firmly adhere to the leadership of party building, and continuously strengthen ideological and propaganda work; Secondly, we need to innovate management models, standardize branch management, and improve institutional construction; The third is to guide enterprises to carry out technological innovation and promote the healthy and sustainable development of the industry by promoting the "four new", building technology-based enterprises, and cultivating core competitiveness.
Finally, Director Gong Yi fully affirmed the work of the association and its branches in 2023, and put forward work suggestions for the development of the branches: firstly, the branches should continue to play a good role and do a good job in evaluating and promoting excellence; Secondly, we should attach great importance to talent cultivation, especially for young designers; Thirdly, branch activities should promote the exchange and integration of the entire industry chain, fully showcase the characteristics of Chongqing's mountains, waters, and mountainous cities, and enhance the influence of Chongqing's design brand; Fourthly, the branch activities should enhance their strategic positioning and strengthen communication and exchange with the China Design Association; Fifth, the branch should strengthen its own construction and standardize management. He emphasized that the development of the industry needs to pay attention to design quality, training of practitioners, strategic production, investment, construction and operation, general contracting of design and construction, full process architect responsibility system, digital development, network security, "three teachers" entering communities, and "good house" design competitions. Finally, he hopes that the association can actively put forward suggestions, form collaborative efforts with government departments, and promote high-quality development of the industry.
